Wife undergoing depression, has filled false dowry case

25-Sep-2023 (In Divorce Law)
I have got married 2 years ago and my wife stayed at matrimonial house only for 1.5 months. Since then she is staying with her mother. In fact, She is the patient of depression which i had observed from her behavior. However, she has neither accepted it nor ready to accept. Just to hide her problem, she was going to her office. She had repeated at least 50 times that she is about to die and her life is very low and lost her wife the way her father has left it. She even told me that it was unbelievable for me to get recovered after her father’s death. In fact, his father died 3 years ago and since then she has lost the control of her senses. Few other things:- 1) She does not talk to anyone or can talk to only few people whom she likes 2) She had used “ Stress” word 100 times due to one or another reason 3) Her lower lips started shivering while she talks in tension Recently, She has filled multiple cases demanding for unlawful dowry. Justice how??

Hello,

For the query you posted, I would suggest the following:

As the facts stated by you, you first need to begin with filing a reply in cases filed by her and then on those grounds further tackle the situation in Accrordance with law.

I hope that answers your query.

You will have to defend yourself. Also you will need to prove her depression state by way of some medical documents like taking of some medicines or some medical prescription. Exact allegations levelled against by your wife needs to be studied before proper advise can be given. If in case your wife has filed an FIR u/s 498a, police will send you a notice. You will need legal help then.

Hi ,

in your case, You have not cleared the exact problem of your wife, Is she have some mental disorder or any disease related to it?
Whatever it is , Need to know some more info regarding your case as she is living with you presently or deserted you from the time you are telling.
if she deserted you from the last 1 year or more than one year, you can go for divorce to family court.

Hope my answer resolved your query.
