What is the actual problem between both of you? If you did not slap her, why did she leave you for last 8 months? What is the real reason for her top leave you? Do you want to really divorce her or would you like to live with her? If you are desperate for a divorce, she may insist on getting payment from you. If she wants divorce, then she may not ask for money. We have to discuss all these facts only then I can advice you accordingly. If you need any further advice/assistance kindly contact me.

Hi sir madam. You didn't mention which religion for you. After one year any one can apply for divorce so now you can file it and you didn't mention you have any child or not suppose without child mean you don't pay any maintenance

Understand that alimony cannot be avoided and should be paid and again it depends upon the facts and circumstances. As you have been married for 6 months, the law stipulates one year as waiting period to apply for divorce.
