Well, if that married girl or woman with your friend was chatting lodges Police Complaint against him for sending one side offensive, explicit and indecent messages, then a case can be lodged against your friend. But, if the chats were consensual, then, no Criminal Case can be lodged against your friend, mere that Married Woman's Husband can seek Divorce from her due to her consensual chatting with your friend.

Dear client based on your question, if both the parties had a consensual conversation over the above mentioned application and if they have also shared personal things as you specified above. In such a situation it is advisable to get proper legal guidance through an experienced legal authority.

Hello The WhatsApp chat is her and your friends personal conversation, hence her brother can’t take any legal action directly as her consent is also required or she can take the legal action directly if she is adult.

I want to clarify that merely having a private conversation with someone, even about personal matters, is not a criminal offense unless the chats contain threats, harassment, or explicit illegal content. If both parties engaged in the conversation willingly, your friend has not committed any crime. However, the girl’s brother may try to file a case under laws related to harassment, cybercrime, or family honor, depending on the content of the chats. If there was no coercion or inappropriate behavior, your friend can defend themselves by proving that the conversation was mutual and consensual. If any legal action is initiated, your friend should remain calm and seek legal assistance. Deleting chats or reacting aggressively could complicate matters. Instead, they should document all relevant evidence to protect themselves. If threatened, they may also consider filing a police complaint for safety. Unless there was wrongdoing, your friend has legal rights and should not be intimidated. I recommend consulting a lawyer if formal action is taken against them.
