Can I Working Wife Demand For Money In Domestic Violence Case

Apart from maintenance is there any remuneration that can be paid to wife if somehow the wife is not eligible for maintenance due to her work?... is it worth putting a case against husband who is earning less than wife? If wife is not eligible for maintenance, can she still demand remuneration for the loss?
