18-Mar-2023 (In Divorce Law)
My wife and myself agreed for mutual consent divorce verbally. She wanted to wait till 19th may (20th may is our marriage anniversary) for starting paper work to which I said no. Next day she left our house with her father, sister and sister-in-law. Now she doesn't speak to me or answer my messages, father one day asks for marriage expenses in mutual divorce which I agreed and asked for amount. Then I called after a week to ask him for amount, he asked to call after a week. He is dangling me. What are my options and what could be the intent to ask to wait till 19th may.

Mutual divorce is only possible when both the parties are willing to agree with the terms and conditions of getting separated.
However if she is not ready for mutual divorce, you can send her a divorce and subsequently file a contested divorce petition.
