If the husband is an NRI and may not be able to come for court hearings too often etc. Is his presence on Skype or video enough or is it mandatory for him to be present physically as I do not want to face him.
Also the reason for mutual divorce is not consummation of marriage, is it necessary that both have to live away from each other for at least 1 year even in this reason? Its been more than 1 year of Marriage however e have lived apart only for 4-5 months now and want to separate ASAP.qWhat is the fastest way of getting divorce decree? Marriage happened in Delhi.

divorce can be obtained through mutual consent under special marriage laws as well. the husband will have to be present as the decree for divorce by mutual consent will have to be signed by both of you and his presence cant be done away with completely
