Hi mine is special marriage act marriage interreligion. I m Muslim my husband is Hindu my in laws are not accepting this marriage thus my husband is in mental presussre he beats me and even not earning. My mother in law is pressurizing me to sign papers and allow him to do second marriage in his own releigion. So I decided better to quit and take divorce but my husband don't want to. Plz help

Hi first of all u can tell the court and all about the current suitation what had happened and all u can also tell the women cell or take the help of them and u can file. A divorce petition
In the court where the court will hear both the parties and all decide then u can also file a complain against him in the police station

I have read Ur issue Ur issue is serious I agree.in this matter you have to be strict on Ur version and decision if Ur ready to quit from this marriage. and do not wish to continue this marriage any more then no body can bound you with in this marriage.no you have to take help of court then only it's possible.

Hi,

You have one remedy. You need to file and send your husband a legal notice immediately and proceed to apply for divorce. Please take photos and keep all evidences with you as you will require this before Court.

Your lawyer will draw up the circumstances under which you are being cruelly treated and your husband will be directed to pay alimony and maintenance. If he's jobless on account of his unwillingness to do work, Court will not accept that . He would have to prove that he is incapable of working due to some mental/physical defect.
