Hi, Regarding your query. Although you have been married since December 2017, you have only been residing separately since April 2018. The law mandates that you are to be residing separately for a period of one year. Ordinarily, you would have to wait until April 2018 to file this petition. In your case however, since you are seeking to obtain divorce by mutual consent, there are ways to work around and you can proceed with filing the 'Mutual Consent' Divorce petition within the second half of December 2018. It will take 6 months after that for the second hearing to come up and should be finalized by June 2019. Do let me know if you need further clarifications.
