It is necessary that you share all the details so that I can assist you further in the matter. The chats on the matrimony website as well as any chats on WhatsApp may come handy during the course of trial

Well, you may face some sort of legal trouble from the concerned Cyber Cell or from the concerned Police Station where she has filed a Complaint, but ultimately, your case can be solved, as you have not executed cheating, but your intent was there to cheat, which Police will assume so, from creation of your Profile by suppressing facts about you, however, you can seek consultation from me for your legal defence, if you are really innocent

Based on your situation, you have not engaged in financial or sexual fraud, nor have you met the complainant in person. However, creating a profile on a matrimony site while being married may be considered misleading. The legal implications depend on the nature of the complaint filed against you. Since you stopped communicating with her 7-8 months ago and no longer have chat records, it is important to check the complaint details. If the allegation is related to misrepresentation, we can argue that there was no fraudulent intent, financial gain, or physical involvement. If the complaint is under cyber laws (such as Section 66D of the IT Act for impersonation or Section 420 IPC for cheating), intent and actual harm need to be proven. I advise you to cooperate with the authorities, provide a clear explanation, and, if necessary, submit an affidavit clarifying your position. If harassment or defamation is involved, you may have counter-remedies. Let’s first obtain the complaint copy and respond legally.
