After Divorce wether it is legal to stay with wife without re marriage

I am a govt servant and my wife is also a govt servant we have a 2 year old kid and have got divorced under cruelty grounds as she didn't want to leave her maternal home and used to abuse me and my parents and also tried to file a false case against me .Now after divorce she wants to come back and leave with me without marriage for the sake of child.Is it legal??? what should be my next step

yes it may not be illegal as it will be considered as a live in relationship as at present you both are unmarried and are independent, if you want to continue this without any strings you can do so, and if you want to again live as husband' and wife you both have to remarry or get the divorce decree set aside.

1. you have to file the one more case for re union and you can live with your wife 2. without court order it's not safe. we do not know the intention of your wife for rejoining you. but be careful with the advocate knowledge your wife is coming to you. some purpose must be there be careful. 3. later also your wife can file multiple cases against you in future. your wife may be coming for this purpose or fooling you . 4. if you stay with your wife after divorce it's an offence, now you are not a husband you are a third party
