1st motion in Lucknow, want 2nd motion in Bangalore?

21-Aug-2023 (In Divorce Law)
1st motion of mutual divorce has already happened in Lucknow. 2nd motion date was taken on 23rd August but lawyer informed 3 days before that judge is not available so 2nd motion could not happen. I am working in Bangalore so now I want 2nd motion to happen in Bangalore. Is that possible? Lawyer confirmed date on 30th July for 2nd motion just 3 weeks before and 3 days before negated it. I travelled all the way to Lucknow to find out this. Is there anyway I can make it happen in Bangalore or go by online route? As travelling to lucknow from Bangalore just to find out at nth moment it is not happening is not feasible and waste of money, time and effort. Is there not any certainty in getting date for 2nd motion then what is point in getting a date? Please clarify.

you told that your mutual consent divorce case is pending in lucknow which is first motion in lucknow and second motion 23 August yet to be done but due to some reason you cannot come to lucknow on 23 August than you want your second motion in banglore this is nothing possible because where the divorce case is filed all the process can be completed there

if first motion was happened at Lucknow then second motion will also happen in Lucknow. You have no other option but to file second motion at Lucknow. There is a provision in Hindu marriage act that second motion will be file after six to eighteen months from first motion. you can pray to court to fix date for second motion according to your convenience. you can call me without any hesitation for further information and clarification

The lawyer might have told you the wrong date, kindly go to the court yourself and check all the dates on the file. If the court is vacant , the lawyer wouldn't be able to help you. if you need the second motion to be placed in banglore , you can move a transfer application in supreme court, as for inter district within the State , the application has to be moved to High Court and for inter State the application has to be moved to supreme court by both the applicants. This could have even be asked directly.
