Hi,If the statement of 164 out of 376 was made to save the boy then can't it be changed. And can't we put fresh again?
No...once the statement is given in the court under section 164 it can't be modified as it will create a clear doubt about the truthfulness of the case. If you have by mistake written down something else in your 164 statement then you can just clarify it when your chief and cross exam will be done. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.
