Section 307 deals with Attempt to Murder. This comes under the category of non-bailable offence. Bail application is made inside the court. The court may or may not grant bail if it wishes. It is non compoundable. This means that CrPC 320 gives a complete chart in which there can be compromise, but 307 does not come in this chart. The victim accused cannot compromise even if he wants to. Even if it happens to an individual, it is against the state. 482 A settlement cannot be reached even by filing a case in the High Court. Yes if opposite party is ready for compromise then you should prepare a Compromise Deed where both parties will sign it thereafter move a 482 Application before High Court and then High Court will close that case.
