Case against gated society builder against robbery

I live in gated society. Robbery of huge amount occured in 3 flats in daylight due to negligence of security agency and manitenance company. FIR has been already filled , police is looking into it, but unable to crack anything. Now we want to do case against maintenance company to compensate for the loss as this incidence occured due to negligence of maintenance company(which actually is of builders subsidiary only) and security agency. Please suggest the way forward if we can get some compensation from builder and if case against maintenance company will not backfire against us in anyways. Thanks!

As per my experience I think you should move to High Court with writ petition and before moving to High Court you should file aur try to lodge a complaint against the Builder and the security provider it will be more better if it is a complaint in case FIR is not lodge then you should move an application to your SDM and further we should move to High Court for proper relief and and expeditious trial.

Since the police is informed and is investigating the case as such the second complaint is not maintainable. You can only file a compensation case against the Agency providing security whose guards were engaged at the time when the incident occurred.
