can seconf FIR be filed in same case

08-Dec-2023 (In Criminal Law)
i have read that a second FIR is permissible only when it is in the nature of counter FIR . But I want to know that where a second FIR is not a counter FIR is that FIR legal? suppose A murdered B in a hotel owned by Mr. C , a FIR was lodged against A under section 302 by B's family and after a few days C lodged another FIR against A that when A murdered B he has also caused hurt to him and stolen property from his hotel. Here the FIR by C is not a counter FIR but a FIR against the same person(A) setting out different allegations out of the same act . Is the FIR lodged by C legal?

absolutely legal.

its part of same transcation but different act and in short it is absolutely legal.

no one can deny registration of FIR and if anyone denies then you always have option to file application unde section 156(3) and 200 crpc to get FIR registered.
