Can I take legal action against my boyfriend who promised to marry me but is now refusing?

My boyfriend deceived me by promising to marry me after divorcing his wife. He lived with me and had a sexual relationship, but now he is refusing to marry me and has left me. I am heartbroken and cannot tolerate this betrayal. He also abused me. I want to file a case against him and have pictures as evidence. What is your opinion on this matter? Can I sue my boyfriend for not fulfilling his promise to marry me?

You can very well file a case against the person who cheated you u/s 376 r/w 417 which amounts to rape by deceiving in guise of marriage and it should be substantiated with proper and sufficient evidences

The rape process shall be made against the boy. The sec 376 of IPC shall be invoked against the boy. The boy must marriage the girls. The supreme court already direction on this issue to punish the boy.

If your boyfriend is betrays you induce you for sexual intercourse you can file criminal complaint against him ipc cheating 420 , rape case 376 he may devastate your life ... .... indian evidence act 1872 easily prove

Yes. You can file a complaint against him for cheating. But beware, having relationship with an already married person is by itself is an offence provided if you have knowledge about his earlier marriage.
