Q: What to do if legal notice against cheque bounce has been returned

I had sent a legal notice to the opponent for a cheque bounce for the amount of 5 lakhs but they had returned the legal notice without replying to it 15 days are over what is the next step how do I summon them to the court what is the procedure and how long will it take ? Also the opponent has sent a message threatening that he will file a complaint with IG of Police for sending a legal notice

My friend gave me a cheque for Rs60000 before one year but he gave his sister's cheque with his sign and I deposited the cheque into my bank it will be return bcoz of sign mismatch and almost one year gone now what I have to do

A cheque has got validity of 3 months as per provisions of Negotiable Instruments Act you should have presented the cheque within the time limit from the issued date if not it has got no value and initiating proceedings now is not viable instead you could file a cheating case against him for more help contact us

First you can file a compliant before the concerned jurisdictional Police station and you would receive a CSR as an acknowledgement and the concerned station house officer would do a preliminary investigation and serve you the copy of FIR. If the same had not taken place you approach the magistrate court in order to file a private compliant.

Q: What should I do if my husband was already married before marrying me

My husband has cheated on me. He kept me in dark and convinced me and my family for our marriage to happen. He was already married in 22nd Feb 2016 and didn't disclosed this fact with us. Our marriage was not a forced marriage. This match came through my maternal uncle and after that this guy was back of me like anything (July 2016 to march 2017). Finally we got married on 10 th March 2017 and within 6 months of our marriage I started knowing the fact. Please suggest me what should I do in this situation. My boy friend cheated me by promising me he will marry after divorcing his wife. He lived with me. He had sexual relationship but refusing for marriage. He left me. I m heart broken now. Now able to tolerate betrayal. He abused me. Want to file a case against him. I have our picture like few evidence. Kindly let me know your opinion.

You can very well file a case against the person who cheated you u/s 376 r/w 417 which amounts to rape by deceiving in guise of marriage and it should be substantiated with proper and sufficient evidences
