Are xerox of true copies valid in court?

I applied for true copies through RTI act. The police sent me one set. I called police and informed I need two more sets and I shall file fresh RTI application with postal order. But the constable in charge of RTI applications said to make xerox of the previously sent true copies. I said xerox copy is not valid in court. My question can I make xerox copies of the true copies and submit them in civil court. The first set of true copies will be submitted in criminal court.

Hi, once FIR LODGED then you can get it from concern court for your further need . You can contact any lawyer for the same job . In Bail certified copy of FIR COMPLAINT REQUIRES. You required 2nd set of documents for what purpose.

you have to produce true copies in both the cases, or you have to produce the said copies and get them marked as exhibits and take certified copies from the court after marking and then produce it in another court, Xerox copies will not be admissible in evidence.

1. you can produce the Xerox copies of the documents before the court in some situations. 2. you have to produce the certified copies and notarized copies in other situations. 3. based on the situation and based on the stage of the case evidence is considered.

Dear Sir, You have two options, you may take xerox copies of documents and ask the RTI Constable to put police Station stamp to make it true copies. Or get the Xerox copies Notraised and file before the court otherwise you have to get certified copies of such documents from criminal court after their marking by the court.
