Hi,

Your truck had manufacturing defects and was also under warranty.

surely, you should file a consumer complaint asking for compensation.

Hi,
You may issue a strongly worded legal notice to the concerned directors of the workshop concerned and seek compenation for delay. Failing which you may file a suit for compensation of damages caused before the concerned court

You can send them a legal notice for alleged unreasonable late delivery of truck against the decided/ prescribed time frame. Though you cannot claim remote/ indirect losses you got die to late delivery but you can allege deficiency of services. Further you can file a consumer court case if they don’t oblige.
