Yes, employee can file a suit for recovery from her own jurisdiction in light of Section 20 of the Civil Procedure Code, 1908 which clearly says that the Plaintiff/ affected person filing Civil Suit can either file from the jurisdiction where the incident occurs, defendant works for gain, or plaintiff resides.

Q: unnessary deduction in salary when delay in submision of report

they have deducted 3 days of my salary stating i havent recived report and then i sumited it they said no you did not submit it in the immidiate day of your work many at time due to traffic or certain issue it is difficult to update so many times we club these together and sent is but because not only this our manager is constanty finding new was to deduct my salary if other employes do this she has no issues but it feels like im the one standing on a knife edge what should i do

It seems like the Manager is creating conditions for you so that you resign from your job automatically. Escalate this issue with the higher authorities saying that you are being unnecessarily harassed by this Manager for these reasons. Do keep evidences with screenshots and video recording/ audio recording and send the same to the higher authority. Don't forget to keep the main CEO/ Managing partner in CC. Don't take this lightly and tell them that this has led you to extreme mental agony.

Hi,I did LLB and got enrolled in one state Bar council also last year . I am working with one MNC . Can I mention advocate with my name or signature.Please suggest

Normally if you are working with an MNC, then it must be clearly written that you are working for that particular MNC and in no other role. So it is implied that you cannot use your advocate designation. However, might be required to read your company’s policies and terms and conditions for the same.
