The person has not mentioned about the which original documents. It is the duty of bank to maintain the original documents. The banks cannot be sued at consumer court. It can be headed to Banking ombudsman.

Sir,
If the bank lost your original document first step is to file a compliant before the banks ombudsman. This bank ombudsman can conduct inquiry and pass order. This only a correct way to redeem your complaint. The consumer complaint is not a proper way.

At the time of availing loan the Bank had issued the acknowledgment for the receipt of the original documents from your father. Without obtaining original title documents they will not sanction loan to your father. So lodge a complaint against the Bank with ombudsman and also with the jurisdictional police station stating that they had lost your original title documents if you have the original acknowledgment issued by the Bank. Also verify the loan agreement wherein the Bank may acknowledged the receipt of the original documents from your father.

Hello
The bank will not give any loan without producing the original documents. If your father had availed loan after producing all the documents, then they would have missed the documents. You can give a police complaint against the bank with regard to the lost documents.
