Claiming interest after filing EA

21-Feb-2023 (In Consumer Court Law)
I have got a decree directing a builder to pay the full amount with interest till date of realisation. I filed an EA (execution application) with interest calculated till the date of EA. Thereafter builder repaid the principal amount after a delay of one year. Can I claim the interest from date of EA till date of payment received, as the decree stipulates interest till realisation. The EA proceedinga is still going on for payment of the interest dues. (My advocate says that interest cannot be claimed beyond EA date).
