Writ jurisdiction of the High Court is very wide and the court has immense power to issue various kinds of writs according to the situation. In the present case the court can order re-examination by issuing a writ of mandamus if the weightage is varying too much from what was mentioned in the notification if some special conditions were not mentioned in the notification.
