Query about a transfer of case from one court hall to another court

03-Nov-2023 (In Civil Law)
I have a civil OS filed by my neighbor regarding property boundary lines and was being heard by city civil judge in a mayo hall court hall. Suddenly, out of the blue, I was told that my case has been transferred to another court hall in the same court. This judge is city metropolitan magistrate and seems like most of the cases here are criminal in nature (cheque bounce, etc). I am trying to get more information regarding this transfer-- 1. why would a case be transferred from one court hall to another in the same court? 2. and why would a civil case be transferred to court hall that hears mostly criminal cases? Thanks

First of all there is no such provision that a matter would be transferred from a civil court to a criminal court and it would be better if you discuss the facts of your case with more clarity. However, from the facts that you have stated above it seems that a fresh case has been instituted against you by the opposite party in some criminal matter so it would be better if you share the details of your case to seek more clarity.
