Yes...You have to file an appeal within 15 days from the date of the receipt of the certified copy of the order according to tamilnadu rent control act..in that appeal, you have to ask for stay of the order for eviction...If such stay petition is not considered by the appellate authority, you can approach high court for the stay of the proceedings..

you can approach high court while staying in the suit property and get interim stay from High Court. High Court can pass stay on the order passed by Lower court this can get you a time period of 3-4 years

you cannot do anything in those 60 days.. once those 60 days period gets over you can file the appeal in the higher court. you will have to wait till the period given by city civil court of 60 days cools down.. but once those 60 days period cools down you will be required to file the appeal immediately..

You need to appeal against the order within 30 days since court has passed order to you to vacate so do it as soon as possible and get a stay against order failing which the owner may file execution petition to get you evacuated

Dear sir/madam, The time limit to prefer an Appeal before the high court is within 30 days from the date of the receipt of the judgment. However there is no bar to file after that with necessary application. I would suggest you to contact me for legal assistance in preferring the Appeal before the appellate court on immediate basis. Regards

In case, if you want to contest this particular Civil Matter in the Appellate Court, then as per the Limitation Act which is currently applicable in India, you have the time-limit of 30 Days within which you have to file this Civil Matter of Title Suit in Appellate Court. By filing of Suit in Appellate Court, it will bring a stay on the lower court's order to vacate the House within 60 Days.
