Can complaint be filed against me when friend fell with his own fault

Dear sir/madam, I and my friend were working at a place we were installing CCTV cameras. And my friend fall from balcony. I had admitted him in hospital and he got stitches on his head and chin. He is out danger and dischared within a day. On 3rd day his mother had called me and she is like he is the only guy who works for them and he is not able to work for another 15days. And I don't want anything from you ask the building owner for compensation. Or else I'll make police complaint. And I think indirectly she is asking for compensation but even I'm like him a small worker. And it doesn't make sense to ask compensation from the owner. And I just want to know if they file a complaint on me or on building owner is a valid complaint. I'm asking this because it's nor my fault nor building owner fault. By It's his own mistake he fell. And while he was falling CCTV footage has been captured.

The incident happened during the course of employment and it is your bounden duty to look after your workers. If he is working under you and the owner is also compensate the worker if he legally false a case against you and owner.

If your friend was working under an employer and as it has happened during the course of his employment, your employer is liable to pay compensation to your friend. Some of the times, building owner can also be prosecuted for the same.

Due to non proving sufficient safe guards your friend fell down. Both of you may ask for compensation from him. Even if your friend files complaint against you, you may plead your innocence before police. You need not worry.

The owner of the building is liable to pay compensation under tortious liability If the injury is simple and no more amount spent on it for Long time in hospital and if doctor certified that the injury had no effect on his earnings and livelihood nothing to worry In case file complaint owner is liable to pay compensation You will be also made as a party but you can discharge from liability.
