After my daughters & wife death will I get compensation.

My husband died and daughter got injured in a fire accident. The Police has registered FIR. My question was can i get compensation in such a case.

Yes you can but that depends on the fact as to how was the accident caused and who is the same attributable to. You can get compensation before the civil court and the same would depend on the nature of loss caused to you.

Yes, you can. As there is two different situations because your husband was died and unfortunately, your daughter met with an accident. These are two different matters. In the scenario enumerated by you, you can initiate a civil action seeking damages/compensation under the law of torts while parallely carrying on with the criminal action wherein also you could be granted separate compensation under Section 357 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, if the criminal court deems fit. Yes you can get compensation. You need to discuss in detail. Where did the fire broke? Was it your negligiance or some other reason? Were your assets under fire insurance or not? Need to see all documents if any. Also need to go through your FIR, to further advise.
