Q: What to do if someone forges your signature and name ?

Dear sir/madam, i got to know that in year 2002 my brother formed a public limited company and put my name as a director in that company without my consent and will . also he may have forged my signature to do so. and stole my voter id for the same. and in year 2011 he closed the same company i want to know what is the legal way i can go for to fiile a case against him, how to report a forged signature? and will i get a copy of the forged signature for forensic testing proving the case i was nowhere involved in any matters of that company ever

File a complaint with the police alleging forgery whereby the matter will proceed to the court and the court upon application from your side order the signatures to be tested by the forensic lab and that should do.

Q: Can the police take action if I was having sex in OYO with a married woman? Is OYO sex illegal?

Let's suppose I am a 24-year-old single Hindu man, and my girlfriend is a 29-year-old married Muslim woman (if laws are different for other religions). We are staying in OYO rooms. Can the police come and harass us for that or take any legal action or file a fake case against us for prostitution? I need a practical answer as I want to file a case against the policeman who harassed our privacy and caused our families to find out about the affair.

Sir,The police has no power to raid the premises especialsly if you are booking the same through a reputed company as OYO. In my opinion, you should file a case against the concerned officials for defamation and harassment and also wrongful use of force and their powers which is not permissible under the law. It has to be also shown to the court that they have disturbed your right to privacy and also caused unnecessary harm to your reputation in the family as well as the society.Hope this helps.Thanks and Regards

Q: What is show cause notice in passport office, please advise what to do

I have got a show cause notice from passport office claiming that I suppressed material information in my application. The notice says that I need to submit documents but does not details which one. I had got adverse police verification report. How should I respond to the notice? The notice does not ask me to come personally to passport office they just have asked me to give suitable explanation for passport show cause notice .

You have to ask them if not stated already in the notice that what kind of knowledge is apprehended by them to be suppressed by you and then when you get a response thereto you could proceed forward with showing cause.

what court are you coming to. apjo ake chalan bhugatna padega aur court jo bhi penalty lagaega apko bharni padegi. court me apko counsel ki zaroorat hogi kyuki bina counsel ke thori difficulty ho sakti hai apko

Q: How can I recover my money from builder owing to fraud

I had invested around 4.5 lakh in a property in Noida, Pratham heights. The builder has fled with all the money. Please let me know how can I recover my money from the builder at the earliest?

Sir,It depends on how you made the payment to the builder and through what medium. If it was a cheque or hard cash and whether you have any proof of the payment so made. Accordingly you can file recovery, deficiency in service or you can file a complaint/FIR with the police. Thanks and Regards
