What to do in case of false cheque bounce allegation?

25-Oct-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
I have worked with a firm in 2015 in sales & marketing department. At the time of joining they asked me to give 2cheques as security money which will be returned once i leave the organisation & i gave them 2 cheques because the firm has been doing this with all the employees during joining. I left job within 2 months because of pathetic & non-conducive working environment, untimely payment of salary & nothing in black & white i.e. No appointment letter, no offer letter nothing was given to me. Now the firm has put false allegation of cheque Bouncing on me. Please help me

It appears to be a genuine case of fraud.
If you have been served with a legal notice, you should reply. If the case has been filled, then you will have to contest. In the matter at hand, it appears that you have a good case and you can prefer to approach higher court for quashing.
Simultaneously, an FIR can be registered against the company.

Ok in this scenario I would first like to see your employement letter or in a case if there is no appointment letter/employment letter then there must be a formal "Letter of Intent" from the company and then I will look into that what language has been drafted in that letter which will make a employee to submit the blank cheque as "Security Cheque". Also to add that there are several Supreme Court rulings and precedents which are there which states that Cheques which are given as a way of security doesn't comes under the ambit of any offence under NI act.

Dear Concerned,

NO NEED TO WORRY at all if you have with you your appointment letter and in case you have resignation letter to that would be great. You will have to appear in the court to defend your self. Thats the only option you have now. You may feel free to contact us at LawRato for pursuing your matter in the concerned courts.

Best of luck
