What to do if the cheque is dishonoured
04-Jun-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
I have to take 55000 from one person . he gave me two cheques and both cheques are bounced saturday . what i should do now ?
immediately talk to him if he wish to pay the amount within 5 to seven days then fine. other wise contact a lawyer and serve him a legal notice u/s 138 of NI act. with 15 days time regarding recovery of that amount failing which just file a case in concerned hon'ble court.

You have to send a legal notice within one month through an advocate by reg post so let me know if you want to send the legal notice through me and the same be sent soon as per your requirement and if the noticee takes the notice and settles the case good or you will have to initiate 138 ni act proceeding against him
As per law, send the legal notice within 30 days, give party 15 days to pay, on expiry of this period, within a month , file the case in District Court. If you will not then you can't recover your money forever.
