Im complainent in check bounce case running in delhi.total amount of checks are 10 lkhs.in last date party offer me an amount.i want to go till end.can judge force me to settle

Hi,
When the accused offers the total amount including all claimed amount, the judge may insist the amount be taken. If the grounds are such that there is a genuine plea where the accused may be spared of the penalty, the same maybe suggested.
If you take the amount you may still pursue the case to impose fine and imprisonment of the accused. For which the judge normally would ask your opinion to allow continuation of the case.
