SBI agent did fraud for checks & harrased me

02-Jan-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
I converted SBI credit card payment into EMI's. I issued 6 check to the SBI agent. Next month I received a call from SBI that they lost my checks & they want new checks. I asked for the FIR for the lost checks but manager refuse to provide me the FIR but he provided me another receipt of new checks. from next months I found that they applied two checks for 1 EMI. 1 from the lost check & 1 from the new check in which one got cleared & the another check bounced. I complaint about this to every level of SBI but they did not took me seriously till 3 months and same thing happened for 3 months & they harrased me for bounced checks. I filed a complaint in consumer forum online then SBI agent apologized & returned my extra checks with the bouncing charges. All payment made on time & card were closed but after few months I received a summon from Rohini court for bounced checks. Please advice.

No need to worry you can go ahead and attend the court date without any fear and all the things payments are already settled before and case is closed . You have to show the court all the previous evidences of payments legally. The case will be dismissed then and there. Also you can file another case for harassment and claim . You can contact me for further assistance as per your will. Thanks

it is very unfortunate what happened but you should have exercised due care while giving them more cheques. that being aid, this is a clear case of cheating and there are both civil and criminal remedies available at your disposal
