Respected Sir,

To file the complaint u/s 138 of negotiable instrument Act, you have to send notice within the limitation period after the cheque was dishonored, if the accused failed to repay the amount within 15 days from the recipet of the notice, you can file complaint before the Court within 30 days.

You may serve him a notice through an advocate asking him to repay money within 30 days of dishonor of checque. And ask for the amount stated in cheque post service of notice period if the amount is not received file a recovery suit.

You have not given details why complaint under section 138 is not filed for other cheques. if you have legal dues to recover then you can file civil suit for recovery if you are unable to file complaint under section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act
