Person took money and now not willing to return amount

A cheque issued to me has bounced>this was informed to the Drawee and tahy asked me to wait.Despite reminders they have not replied whether to re present the cheque.

Dear present the cheque once again to your bank. .if if get bounced again. .send Legal notice within 15 days and after that you can file a case u/s138NI Act. in the court .Ask your lawyer to send Legal notice

Well it seems that the other person is wilfully wasting your time in order to evade his criminal liability. U must immediately send him a legal notice of demand within 30 days of dishonour asking him to repay the cheque amount. If you fail to do so, then only civil remedy will be left for u, which involves payment of court fees.

Hi, you clarify that what is the date written on cheque because there is limitation . I am Delhi based advocate and well versed in cheque bounce cases with very reasonable cost . You need to discuss some more information . Thanx

when the cheque was issued and when it was presented by you in the bank ? Please also inform whether the person who issued you the cheque has informed you in writting to re-submit the cheque ? Did you sent any legal notice to him ? Please inform these details so that we can help you properly.
