22-Mar-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
Despite completing 15 days if accused didn't pay amount then a complainant needs to file a case before the court through his lawyer. I wish to know within how many days/month court issues its first summon to accused to appear for court hearing. Secondly generally within how many months/years does a cheque bounced case resolved?

hi

in this case you have to file complaint before the magistrate within one month from the expiry of the statutory period of fifteen days

within a month accused will get the summons

if the case is settled then it's probably finished early. if it goes for trial then it might take one year to dispose of
