How can i defend cheque bounce case imposed against me

Dear sir/madam, I lost a cheque leaf with mismatched signature and for precautions I gave a complaint to police as lost cheque but as not have any signature because they were not ready accept the complaint for having signature and now case was lodged for 7lk against me by unknown person, is it possible for them to win the case and I am having all the police records for lost cheque or how can I defend and win this case please suggest me

You would have filed one complaint before your concerned bank also after loosing your cheque and would have blocked your account. Meanwhile you can contest the case by stating that you have not signed your signature on the cheque hence same can be sent to the forensic lab for authentication of signature and you can also file PCR against that unknown person for forgery
