Financial Lender Lost My Blank Cheque

13-Oct-2023 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
Hello, Gave my signed blank cheque to a local financial lender and borrowed some money and we cleared few weeks back and now that lender saying that he lost my cheque and asking us to just cancel cheque in the bank and no need to worry about it. What are my options here to sort things out ? Any help/advise would be appreciated Thank you!

If you gave cheque and money lender not returning first complaint to police for loss of cheque and also in your bank. Take receipt or loan clearance certificate from the money lender otherwise he may file cheque bounce case against you
