Cheque bounce case-I am about to receive cheque bounce memo from bank
02-Feb-2024 (In Cheque Bounce Law)
I and one builder entered into agreement for refund of my deposit ( which I deposited for allotment of flat ) . Builder issued 8 post dated cheques, out of which I got the payment of 4 cheques and for 2 cheques, I am about to get cheque bounce memo from Bank. I am sure that by first week of Feb 24, I am expecting the cheque bounce memo from bank concerned.. I want to proceed against him . pl advise, how to proceed further.
okay I understand your questions so you present the cheque in bank now cheques was bounce you get memo from bank on 24th r ight. yes it is posssible you shuld take advocate and send legal notice to build er and you have to wait he will give reply or not hence you file a Case under nagociable instruments act under file a case at court and take order to recover the amount

You can proceed against bounce of two cases and after initiation of process like sending legal notice and thereafter file a cheque bounce criminal case the builder may understand the consequences and may come forward for settlement. You need not pay any Court fees in criminal case except Advocate fees.
