Q: Ex Karnataka Home Minister illegally occupying my late wife's flat.
After my late wife's father passed in 1994 she was cheated by the rest of her siblings who were all many years her senior. They gave her a forged will and robbed her of her exten inheritance in cahoots with various prominent builders. One of the properties was a flat which is still in my wife's name according to all property & ownership documents/encumberance certificate etc. We had approached 17 different lawyers & law firms to file cases but they deceived us & wasted our time and did nothing.

you are entitled to get back the advance amount. if the land lord is denying to pay back, initially you can issue legal notice to owner. if he fail to pay after receiving the notice, you can approach civil court seeking the recovery of money

I am wondering whether you can transfer ownership of agricultural land from deceased father to 3 sons and partition equally; that land is the subject of a proposed acquisition by the Housing Board to develop it into a residential layout and the matter is in court for > 8 years started by the now deceased father and other adjoining land holders. Yes... Always the property can be inherited by Legal Heirs after the death of person even though the subject property is the part of acquisition.if it is the agricultural property, you should approach Tahsildar seeking to tranfer the name in RTC and further, the children can enter into partition
