i had bailed some one against his arrest warrant for the ipc 138.
what will happens to me if he fails to appear in the court ?
the court will issue a summon to you and you will be asked to pay or deposit some amount as security on his behalf. The court will question you becaise you have taken the responsibilty for his presence. The judge may ask yiu about his current status and why the offender is not being present in court. You may be asked to endure his presence as well.
