Q: Can a teacher be compelled to do bus duty

I am teacher in dav school and doing bus route incharge duty from past few years but now due to some unavoidable reasons I am not able to continue my bus route incharge duty and school principal is forcing me to do this duty...is it compulsory teacher to do bus route duty?

In general teacher has two basic responsibilities in school that is teaching work and administrative work. you must have entered job contract when you joined the school. Your all work assignment has in accordance with your contract. To answer you query more appropriately detail facts are needed.

Q: Can legal heir claim share in wife's property after husbands death

Can a property registered in wife’s name even when the husband had purchased it for her be part of a family settlement suit post death of husband when husband has not left any will? Can the legal heir claim share in the above property?

If the property fall under the category of Joint Hindu Family property then the legal heir can claim share in the property and if it is established other way round that the popery is self acquired property then the legal heir cannot claim share in the property.

Q: Damp in house as resident places water tank causing water retention

..i am a resident in delhi ..i am staying at third floor..person on second floor has forcefully placed a water tank on the terrace..whereas we have the floor rights..due to which we have water retention and our terrace is having damp in our house..she was legally supposed to just place only on tank..secondly if we lock the terrace she jumps from our neighbours terrace...this person is in police so he harrases us..please let me know what legal action i may take against them

you can initiate action against him in both civil law as well as criminal law.Criminal Action1.You can file complaint against him/her in your area police station for trespassing and harassment 2.You can complaint to his/her superior of his misuse of his position and for harassing you CIVIL ACTIONYou can file civil suit for injunction and damages to your property.You can initiate the action by giving a legal notice to the person stating that if she do not mend her ways and do the things rightfully then you will be forced to approach the court of law.
