Q: property ownership by 2, what happens when one dies
Hello,My Mother in Law's (MIL) name is first on flat dastavej and my name is second on dastavej. If my MIL passes away, do I become the sole owner of the flat or not? Thanks!

No you cannot become the sole owner of the property. For that you have to make pedhi nama of your MIL and submit it to the city survey office in which jurisdiction your property is situated. if you are only legal hair then you will become the sole owner of the property by paying stamp duty to the govt. as u are not straight line legai hair of MIL

if you know the lawyer personally then you can transfer. and there is also an option to pay stamp duty and registration fees payment online on the government official website. It is compulsory to pay registration fees online on govt. website. but stamp duty u can pay by purchasing physical e-stamp from government authorized stamp vendor also

Hi, If person A the seller and person B the purchase made a land sale agreement Banakhat on unregistered notary,payment terms would be 1 year and then legal procedure for stamp duty, land transfer registry would be done but the person A sells the land to a new person C after 1 year of validity the unregistered Banakhat.Peson C purchased it from person A through registered stamp and gov stamp duty paid legally .Can B cause problems to person C?

You can take legal action if you have an approach to the seller A to execute registered sale deed before expiry for the unregistered banakhat and u have fullfill condition of unregistered banakhat within time period and then after seller A sold his property to another person.
