I am from Hyd, currently working at a private company in Noida. I have paid chit of 20K from Dec 2022 (4Lakh chit @ 20 months). The person should return money in June 24. But he didn't give, instead he gave 2 cheques in July. He is in Hyderabad and Cheques were Bounced at Noida Sector 142, The value of cheques are Rs.442900/-.How can I proceed legally to get my money back including lawyer fee, court fee and bank charges. How much time it will take to resolve the case.Can I file a case in Noida?

Yes you can file the case in noida. If your bank is in noida. Else you have to file case where you home branch is situated. It will take approximately a year to decide the case. Further we can discuss regarding the fees and all in person.

A property Broker had given me a cheque to return my booking amount for a property booked through him after I did not go ahead with the booking. This cheque bounced with memo stopped payment by drawer. I have been defrauded. What legal action can I take now. The check will complete 3 month validity on 31st August

You have to file an application before the concern court. The court will direct the concern police station to transfer the freeze amount from the bank account of accused to your bank account. The complete procedure might take 1 month time.
