Q: Will a Previous Case Affect my Appointment in Government Services

A charge sheet was submitted against me under the sections of 341 and 324 of IPC and section 75 of JJ act. Now the case is settled and hence quashed by the high court. Now I am discharged of the charges. Recently I cleared a central government exam and was included in the final list for job. I will have to furnish all the details of case in the antecedent form . However, Will this past case affect my recruitment? Will the police verification report be against me?

If you quashed the crime through high court proceedings you can submit the order on a jurisdictional court, after the crime never effect your recruitment proceedings. The police report only regarding the case which pending in your name so the reason the case does not affect your future.

Q: Device seized by police for checking cp. Not sure of legal procedures

Hi, I was recently called to police station 5 months back and upon searching my phone they found about some 6 cp videos along with other 18+ adult videos (downloaded through whatsapp). They couldn't find any whatsapp group since i had left such adult groups many months before this incident. The police informed me that they are seizing the device for forensic check and let me go.I am not sure what are the legal procedures, cases charged upon. All they told was there is no issues as of now.

You should take the receipt number or crime number of your case from the police station . You can approach the jurisdictional court of that police station and you can get the mobile phone through court order. you have the right to know what's the reason for your mobile custody and after the police proceedings, you will get the mobile phone.

Q: Someone wrongfully froze my bank account

Hi. My bank account was wrongfully frozen based on a complaint registered in Tamil Nadu cybercell. I was provided with the national portal acknowledgement number and which transaction it was for. The person that sent me that amount assures me that she didn't do any complaint against me. The amount was sent for a legal cryptocurrency trade in binance.com. I have all the proof necessary to prove my innocence. Is there any way to see who lodged this complaint against me?

the reason behind your bank account being frozen is a police complaint. Maybe your account is involved in a crowd-fund transaction which means the amount received from the police complainant. you can find the complainant from the police station report.

Q: Using Cracked Softwares in a private limited ompany

I work in a company to teach different softwares. And the company use cracked software's for teaching and also helps students to install cracked softwares, can I file a complaint against the company.What actions can be taken, what are the consequences

If that company offered genuine software for your teachings you can file a complaint at the jurisdictional police station. If there are any discomforts regarding your teachings you should send an advocate notice to the company address. Students also have the right to file a complaint against that firm.

You can file a complaint before the consumer court. If the club does not arrange the facility you should send an advocate notice to the opposite party. Then you can approach the consumer court, the court will take action against the opposite party and allow compensation for your loss.
