You must take care of all the privacy laws given a lot of personal information of consumers will be in your custody. You must be careful to not be vicariously liable for any defective service that a particular hotel or airline provides. Apart from that all the compliances applicable to companies will be relevant.

There are no specific laws for operating am online travel agency. However, this does not mean that you do not adhere with the rules re operating a travel agency thru a brick and mortar set up. Licenses required from Tourism ministry and approvals such as those from iata r mandatory. There are certain more requirements related to your corporate model, paid up, educational qualifications etc. Which are mandatory. Further, you need to have a well drafted website terms wherein adequate disclaimers and disclosures re adherence with travel agent related rules are factored in.
