How can I form terms and condition of a website

12-Apr-2023 (In Startup Law)

I build one education website. which will work internationally. It is based on Online courses and coaching institutes. Instructor can upload online courses on my website and I'll pay him commission on selling course. Should I take help of any lawyer to write terms & conditions, Privacy policy, Copyright etc ? If yes then which points I should give to lawyer so that he can make terms & condition for my website. What is the cost for these thing and how much time?

The terms and conditions can be enumerated only after understanding your business model. Only after analysing the business model, one can suggest the professional fee.
One will also require to look into the compliance with various laws.

We understand that you will have to set out your terms and conditions carefully since there will be multiple transactions taking place on a daily basis. In an event that you do not have strict legal policies in place, you may face cases of copyright violation or plagiarism. Also you must ensure that you are not liable to any student for any deficiency in the course offered by a third party. You will need a lawyer's assistance to comply with all the formalities.
