Can I use company's registration TIN number for importing machines

i have a registered construction company (civil and sanitary) and tin number, can i use this tin number for importing other machines not related to construction like gym equipments which require VAT registration. i am from Srinagar J&k and need to get machines from Punjab
Please take note of following -
1. Technically in current scenario you can't use your company's TIN for the import of gym equipment.
2. To do so either you need to have a new entity at its place having its own document and license, or
3. You need to amend the MOA of your company formally declaring that you are going to venture out in this field as well from what your are previously been doing, or
4. Have a TIN number on your name and import the equipment on your name and venture out in this profession as a proprietor.
