Hi
Ancestral property means property acquired from Grand father, Father..
If your father or Grand father have not left behind any will or gift deed or any instrument of transfer in favour of your brother, then you can contest the action of your brother registering the property in his name. You will need to file a partition suit in the place where the properties are situated and seek your share.
