I received a legal notice from my brother in law to which i didnt reply. He has vandalised my character in legal notice but according to the notice he is not taking legal action on me . How can i apply a damage suit on him i want to know

Hello sorry for late reply, as it is in the notice that ur brother in law as vandalised as u stated, and it's not in public or has he taken any further legal action against u , if he had stayed in public or in any public domain you could have filled a defamation case against him and could have claimed loses and damages against him, u can still go and file a complaint in the station for false allegations made by him, but can't conclude with the outcome of that complaint.
