Yes daughter and son have equal rights of inheritance if there is no Will left by the owner of the property which is self aquired by him or her. Share is determined based on number of legal heirs of the deceased owner.

Daughters have a share in the property of their mother. The property devolves upon the husband and children equally. She can also will the property as per her wishes. In that case the property will devolve as per the will.
